In the new beta update, which is available at 2.21.180.14 , a Multi Device option has been added under the Linked Device section. The biggest change we see with the addition of this feature to WhatsApp is that the user does not need to be online to log in to their account via computer; But you will still need to scan a QR code with your phone to add a new device. Just like using it in web mode.
Depending on your messaging history, the time it takes for a device to connect to your account will vary. So if this process takes you too long, it is probably due to the high volume of messages, so it is recommended that you wait.
