What is photographic style?
photographic style is a feature that the user can use to take photos directly and through the camera app, and after recording it, not only by the iPhone but any other phone, make the desired changes. In addition, the user can apply this mode to their images in different ways and is not limited to just one effect.
Before explaining the photographic style on the iPhone 13, let’s take a look at where the user can access this feature.
- First of all, you need to open the camera app on iPhone 13 series phones.
- While in standard shooting mode, tap the arrow at the top of the camera.
- Select the style photo option and activate it.
- Choose one of the four available styles and customize it to your liking.
- Tap the shutter button to capture your selected image.
photographic style on iPhone 13 gives you the following four different modes;
- Rich Contrast
- Vibrant
- Warm
- Cool
Which means high contrast, vivid and fresh (dynamic), hot and cold, respectively. Below you can see examples of images recorded in all four modes. Unfortunately, since the iPhone 13 series is not yet officially available, the images below are screenshots of a video. Therefore, their quality may be low. As soon as these phones are officially released to the market, we will take a closer look at this feature and sample images recorded with it.
What is the difference between photographic style in iPhone 13 and ordinary filters?
In photographic style, the user can control the effect of his images in two ways; In terms of heat and color effect. If the color tone increases, the image will look brighter and brighter; if it decreases, the contrast of the image will naturally increase and the shadows will be darker. In a way, it can be said that the image gets colder. Increasing the warmth of the image also improves the golden tone, while if you reduce it, the blue tone of the image will improve. All changes that are applied to one image will be saved in the camera application so that the user can use them in the next images as well.
In terms of attractiveness, cinematic mode seems to be better than photographic style; In fact, if we were to get excited about the new features of the iPhone 13, photographic style would definitely have the least impact. However, what do you think about this new feature?
