The BIN file is more related to the Binary File than anything else. Binary files are used for a wide range of content and can be linked to many different applications. In general, a BIN file looks like rubbish to a file editor unless there is a trace of the file in the ASCII part of the file.
Determining which program a particular BIN file belongs to is difficult. The context of the file (where it is located) may help. Sometimes a CD or DVD image is circulating as a BIN file. These images must be written to disk or opened using an authorized CD / DVD program. Note: This type of file may be infected and if someone has sent you a file with this name, scan it carefully.
How to open a BIN file (in Windows)
To open a BIN file you need a suitable software such as Binary view ( click to download it ). Without proper Windows software, the message “How do you want to open this file” (Windows 10) or “Windows cannot open this file” (Windows 7) or a similar warning will be displayed. If you can not open your BIN file properly, try right-clicking or long-pressing it. Then click Open with and select an application.

How to solve BIN file problems? (In Windows)
- Open the BIN file with the appropriate program. In Windows, right-click on a BIN file and then select Open with> Select another program. Now select another application and check Always use this app to open * .bin files.
- Update your software to actually open binaries. Because only the current version supports the latest BIN format. So look for an update on the manufacturer’s website.
- To make sure your BIN file is not corrupted or infected with a virus, download the file again and scan with Google virustotal.com.
Using disk for storage is unusual, and the file format cannot be converted to modern digital storage formats by manipulating it to extract data and convert it to a format easily used by Android devices or other related digital formats.
Some BIN files are protected and will not be converted. For example, it is not possible to convert media from a copyrighted DVD or CD without breaking the security layer. Note that this is illegal and it is better to buy a digital format from the same media.
View bin file on Android phone
To install a program that is in the form of a BIN file, change the file extension and use a third-party plugin to install the program or convert separate files.
Go to the Google Play Store and search for BIN format converter software or ISO Extractor program . Make sure the app is set to convert BIN file format and install it on your Android device. After installing the program, you need to make a physical connection to the computer and change the file tags and return the file to the phone.
After making these mandatory settings, the third-party BIN Opener service will be able to read and install the file on your Android device.
Using the BIN Opener program
Press the gear icon on the Android device and tap Settings. Tap the App Manager option and check the box next to Unknown Sources.
Tap the Developers menu option in the Application Settings menu and select the USB Debugging protocol.
Connect your Android phone to the computer via the USB cable that came with the device. Scroll down the USB menu from the top of the device screen. Tap Disk Drive and put your Android phone in disk mode.
Select the Start button on your computer taskbar and click Computer. Double-click the icon on the Android phone’s removable storage device to view its contents.
Find the BIN file in the Android storage folders. To highlight the file, click on the BIN file and by clicking on the file again, place the text cursor in the file name field. Change the file extension from BIN to APK by highlighting. For example, if the file is named Application.BIN, rename it to Application.APK.
Right-click on the removable storage device icon of your Android phone and select Eject. Disconnect the device from the computer. To launch the app, tap the new extractor app on your phone. Find the APK file and select the desired file to open and install on your Android device.
