Samsung’s new proprietary chips have not been introduced for a long time. In the middle category, we have not seen a new product for a long time. But recently, the Exynos 1200 chip has been spotted on the Geek Bench benchmark. This benchmark tells us about the possible specifications of the Exynos 1200.
According to Sammobile, Samsung is one of the main manufacturers of mobile chips. The company frequently uses its proprietary Exynos chips in its products. However, some third-party phone manufacturers have also used Samsung chips in their products. But the company is working on a new chip. This chip has just been leaked. We have not talked about the Exynos 1200 before. This is because this chip was first seen in the Geek Bench benchmark.
The chip is reportedly set to replace the Exynos 1080. This chip was introduced almost 2 years ago. Therefore, it is time to replace it. This chip was a high-end chipset. However, none of the Samsung phones were equipped with it. Instead, you can find it on the new Vivo X70. However, we may see a similar fate for the Exynos 1200. Because it seems that Samsung does not intend to use it in its phones. As a result, Samsung may want to offer the chip to other companies, just like the previous generation. As a result, it is not surprising to see one of Vivo’s new handsets with this chip!

Apart from that, the Exynos 1200 has appeared in Geek Bench. The chip scores single-core and multi-core 150 and 1.5 , respectively. Of course, since this rating does not apply to the final version, it cannot be invoked. The processing cores of this chip will have ARMv8 architecture. Its graphics processor will also be Mali-G68. Its CPU also has eight cores. The first cluster has 6 low-power cores with a maximum operating frequency of 2 GHz. The second cluster also has 4 powerful cores with a maximum operating frequency of 2.4 GHz.
Rumor has it that Samsung is looking to introduce a chip with an RDNA 2 GPU. But whatever it is, the Exynos 1200 is not that chip! Exynos 1200 launch date not specified. But we will probably see the introduction of this chip in the coming weeks.
What do you think about this chip? Are you waiting for it? Which device do you think will be equipped with it?
