How to use LinkedIn as an employer? You may be familiar with Linkedin. a media outlet is known as the professional business social network. many use Linkedin to recruit and recruit. but frankly, LinkedIn’s mechanism and performance may seem a little chaotic. part of Linkedin features is not free. but even so, there are several ways to take advantage of the free features of this website. below we introduce some of the features of Linkedin that you can use to help make your profile look more accessed and thus have a better chance of being recruited.

1. rotate anonymously on linkedin

the “who has viewed your profile” section has always been one of the most prominent features of LinkedIn. by default, when you visit someone’s profile, they’ll find out. LinkedIn usually shares information such as your name, company name, position, how to find that person in the LinkedIn environment, and your mutual communications (mutual friends).

although sharing personal information can help you get to know and interact with other users, sometimes you may not want to share that information with anyone. don’t worry, one of the features of LinkedIn and the settings of this social network is devoted to the same thing. LinkedIn allows its users to browse the website with greater anonymity by browsing in semi-private or private mode.

circulating in semi-private mode means that LinkedIn only shares some descriptive information about you. for example, it may share your job title, company, school, or work industry. in this case, people you click on their profile can’t see any identifiable information, such as your name, photo, or place of life. when browsing in semi-private mode, you are actually only counted as one of the screen viewers, but your identity will be hidden to the user.

  • What is LinkedIn social network, what is its use, and how to work

this feature is especially suitable for people who want to attract and employ the workforce. these people have to watch very different people’s profiles, and most of them are usually unfied for that job position. of course, there’s nothing wrong with publicly visiting profiles. this will make your profile look more likely.

2. make your linkedin posts public

writing different posts on Linkedin will help attract audiences and get to know you. one of Linkedin’s features is that you can restrict access to them only to your friends or to the public. we recommend that you publish posts publicly so that more people can see them. likes to these posts by your followers will make more people see them. to do this, you first need to make your profile public so that people outside your network can see it, too. follow the path below.

  • Click on the profile icon and select Settings & Privacy.
  • Click Visibility and then change the Edit your public Profile option.

  • Make sure the Public Visibility option is turned on

  • Return to visibility page again. A little lower, you’ll see the Followers section. For this section, select the Everyone on Linkedin ordained.

Once you’ve done so, when you’re writing or sharing a new post, make sure it’s set to public and public. By doing so, all LinkedIn users can access the content of your profile. In addition, statistical information such as post-interaction information, the number of people who viewed your post through your Feed will also be shared with you. You can use this information to optimize your content production strategy.

3. use linkedin’s search feature

This feature is more suitable for companies and individuals who themselves intend to hire someone. These people can use the LinkedIn Recruiter section, but it’s expensive to activate and usually not much. Instead, try using LinkedIn’s own simple, native header feature. This section can help you find a lot of options. But there are a few main drawbacks below.

  • has fewer filters to limit results
  • you can only click on a few limited profiles before purchasing a special subscription

However, this section remains useful. Because you can find some of your possible candidates using different filters. For example, you need someone who is fluent in English and knows skills such as graphic design and working with Illustrator software.

To search, follow the path below: My Network > Connections. Now select the Search with Filters option from the top right page. Use these filters to limit and make your results more accurate. Click See all results and then people to view the results. The people you see have all the features you want!

note that the number of profiles you can view is limited. so if filters aren’t very useful and don’t limit results for you, use other or more filters.

4. enable the “other people have viewed” feature

The LinkedIn environment allows you to enable or disable the People Also Viewed feature. This feature shows you profiles that are similar in many ways to the profile you are in. These suggestions may be based on whether the person works in the same company or that they have the same abilities. Although there are no guarantees about the relevance, efficiency, and accuracy of these offers, using them can help you find and connect with more people. The stronger your connections on LinkedIn, the more likely you are to find a suitable job. On the other hand, this feature is also very useful for people who want to hire. They can find other possible job options and candidates among these offers.

linkedin’s capabilities are widely varied and proper and targeted use of them can help you find job opportunities. in this article, we reviewed 4 of these features. you can also share your experiences with us in the comments section. what features or tricks do you use for better LinkedIn performance?
