How to save photos in WEBP format in Photoshop
Photoshop software does not support Webp format by default. Therefore, users must first install the WebPShop.8bi plugin in their Photoshop. You can download the file of this plugin through GitHub . Next, move the WebpPShop.8bi file based on your 32-bit or 64-bit version to the following address:
- C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop\Plug-ins
It is worth noting that the address provided is the path to which Photoshop software is installed by default. If you have the file installed on another drive, move the Webp plugin to the installed folder. Now restart your computer system once so you can use this plugin in your Photoshop.
When you have finished editing the image in Photoshop, select the File menu at the top of the page. In this menu, find Save As . Of course, you can open the Save As window by holding Shift + Ctrl + S.

After writing the name of the photo file, open the Save as Type option at the bottom of the page. At the bottom of the window, find and select the WebP format (* .WEBP *, WEBP). Selecting this format will open a small window for the WebPShop plugin.

In this window, you can enter the settings you want. You can adjust the final image quality and view the final output of the image along with the image size. After making the settings, click OK. Webp format image is now successfully saved on your computer system.
