remove background in Photoshop; Photoshop 2020 software and newer versions have an application called “Quick Action”. Through this section, you can do many things, including removing the background of your desired image.
Use Quick Action to remove background in Photoshop
Since this section automatically detects the background of the image you want, you can delete your subject background with just one click. But the cut may not be done carefully enough and may not be to the user’s liking. But there is no harm in trying it.
To get started, first open your image in Photoshop. Now in the Layers panel, which is located on the right side of the Photoshop window, if there is a lock icon, click on the “Background” layer to unlock it. (Skip this step if there is no lock icon.)
Now select “Properties” from the Windows section at the top of the software bar. Through this panel, you can find Quick Action options.
To use this option, first select the “Layer 0” layer in the Layers section to the right of the software. (I mean the Background layer.)
In the “Properties” section, look for the “Remove Background” option in the “Quick Action” subcategories.
After a few seconds, the background of the photo will be removed successfully.
How to remove pixels around the subject
After the image background is removed, blank pixels will appear around the subject. To remove them via the “Image” tab in the top bar, go to “Trim”.
In this section, select the “Transparent Pixels” option and check the “Trim Away” options as shown below, and click “OK”.
Now all the pixels around your subject have been removed and you can save your image in PNG format to put a new background in the future. To do this, just select “Save as” in the top bar of the software and in the “File” section.
In the window that opens, you can rename your image and specify its storage path. Remember to put the new image as the background of your photo in the future, set the image format to PNG, and click “Save”.
