Unlike Samsung’s flagship tablets in recent years, which use the Snapdragon chip, it seems that at least the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra Series will use the Exynos 2200 chip.
Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra
The Galaxy Tab S8 series is set to be the next flagship of Samsung tablets, which will include three models: Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8 Plus and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. Meanwhile, the Ultra will likely feature a large 14.6-inch display and an 11,500 mAh battery.
According to Sammobile, Samsung is expected to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chip in the Galaxy Tab S8, like its other flagship tablets in recent years. However, recent rumors have once again confirmed that Samsung’s new flagship tablet will be powered by AMD’s Exynos 2200 chip, which, with these interpretations, cannot replace the Galaxy Tab S7 series.
A new report from the Korean media suggests that at least the Ultra model will probably be equipped with the Exynos 2200 chip. Given the shortage of chips in the world, Samsung is probably not very confident in choosing a Snapdragon or Exynos chip, and everything will become clear over time. The Galaxy Tab S8 series is expected to be introduced in early 2022, and according to rumors, its release date will be close to the Galaxy S22 series.
What do you think about the possibility of using the Exynos 2200 chip in the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra?
