Microsoft says it is aware of the dissatisfaction of those who cannot install Windows 11 on their devices, but these policies have been adopted to provide the best possible user experience.

Before installing the new version of Windows, Microsoft will check the hardware compatibility with this update and will show you an error if the prerequisite is not met. The company claims that Windows 11 is a major update focusing on security features. For this purpose, prerequisites have been set to bring the best performance and security.
Microsoft says ways to bypass Windows 11 installation requirements will not work. Users can disable Windows 11 security updates by manipulating the Group Policy section, but the minimum Windows 11 prerequisites can not be bypassed by editing this section. Microsoft reminds:
“Group Policy does not allow you to bypass the hardware requirements of Windows 11. “We still do not allow unsupported devices to upgrade because we want to make sure your devices are supported and secure.”
As you can guess, users are not happy with this vague explanation from Microsoft. They have objected to the company in a video comments section in which Microsoft published the comments, criticizing the policies. Some say that another version of Windows 11 will be similar to Windows 8, others believe that the prerequisites set are merely a marketing ploy by Microsoft.
This video currently has more than 300 dislikes and 50 likes, and its comments section is no longer available. With all that said, Microsoft will probably find ways to circumvent these requirements in the future. But currently the methods related to manipulating Windows Update, Media Creaton Tool, Registry and Group Policy do not work.
