With less than a week to go until the release of Windows 11, many PC users seem to be unaware of this. Savings.com recently conducted a study that surveyed 1,042 Windows operating system users about the release date of Windows 11. The results of this study show that only 38% of users, 28% of users between 18 and 24 years old, and 56% of users over 55 years old were aware of the release date of Windows 11.
Of the minority who knew the release date of the operating system, 41% intended to use the operating system, 14% did not intend to do so, and 45% have not yet decided to upgrade to the current version of their operating system. As you know, Windows 11 can only be installed on TPM 2.0-enabled systems, and in addition to the new processors, all Intel 8th generation processors, some of the company’s 7th generation chips, and Raizen 2G processors also support this operating system.
The survey also asked questions such as the most important feature of Windows11 from the users’ point of view, and 38% of users did not have an answer to this question. Support for Android apps with 14%, new appearance with 13%, game enhancement capabilities with 13%, and more security features with 11% were other common answers to this question.
Unlike the introduction of Windows 95, 7, and 10, Microsoft did not maneuver much on Windows 11 ads, while problems with the operating system’s prerequisites increased the likelihood of low acceptance. Windows 10, meanwhile, finally reached a record 1 billion active users last year. Windows 10 users can access the new version of this operating system for free from October 5.
